Asphalt Roofing

Roofing additive facilitates air-blown oxidation of roofing fluxes and enhances the quality of roofing cement.
Our Plyant® roofing additive facilitates the air-blowing oxidation of roofing fluxes and enhances the quality of the resulting roofing cement. With Plyant®, the air-blowing oxidation time required to achieve any given softening point can be significantly reduced. In addition, the resulting coatings show increased low-temperature penetration and prototype shingles display superior Tear-Strength and Mandrel Bending characteristics. In modified bitumen membrane compounds, Plyant® allows a significant reduction in the amount of polymer required to meet specifications and also enhances many key properties. The quality of the roofing products, from shingles to membranes to different types of coatings, can all be significantly improved with Plyant®.
