ICL offers a complete line of reduced sodium and sodium-free phosphate specialty options, including our BRIFISOLl® and JOHA® specialties for formulating sodium-free and low sodium foods. Sodium is believed to contribute to heart disease, high blood pressure and stroke. The reduction of sodium content is one aspect of healthier products, recommended by USDA guidelines and other worldwide regulatory agencies. In addition to our phosphate solutions we offer SALONA™ low sodium sea salt, which can be used to replace up to 50% of sodium chloride. This natural mineral is an effective tool for replacement of salt in food and beverage products.

Cal-Sistent® Cal-Sistent® is a micronized calcium phosphate distinctive in the marketplace with a narrow particle size distribution range. This size consistency provides favorable organoleptic properties, excellent suspension properties while not affecting flavor.
Calstar® CALSTAR® (Calcium phosphate) can be used as a calcium nutrient supplement or as an excipient in the preparation of tablets by direct compression or wet granulation.
Dicalcium Phosphate Food Grade Food grade Dicalcium Phosphate is commonly used as a source of calcium in food and beverage applications. Also as a leavening agent in bakery items with a high set temperature and other specialized bakery products including sodium-free baking.
Dipotassium Phosphate (Food Grade) Dipotassium Phosphate is a key nutrient in the culturing of antibiotics, yeast and other fermentation processes. It is commonly used as a soluble buffer for coffee creamers. DKP buffers pH and interacts with milk proteins.

Monocalcium Phosphate (Food Grade) Monocalcium phosphate (MCP) is a leavening acid that reacts rapidly with baking soda. It's well suited for use in baking powders and in products requiring double action, such as cake and pancake mixes. It's also used as a source of calcium in beverages.
Monopotassium Phosphate (Food Grade) Monopotassium Phosphate (MKP) is used in food as a pH control agent, buffering agent, acidulant, and nutrient source. Also in bread and doughs, dry powder beverages, eggs, isotonic beverages, mineral supplements, starter cultures and yeast cultures.
Potassium Tripolyphosphate (Food Grade) Potassium Tripolyphosphate is used for food applications requiring the function of a polyphosphate with the benefit of sodium free.
Salona® low sodium sea salt SALONA is a natural sea salt that can be used in many food and beverage applications as a replacement for up to 50% sodium chloride and as a full replacement for potassium chloride.
Tricalcium Phosphate (Food Grade) Tricalcium Phosphate (TCP) has many food applications as a nutrient source for calcium and as a flow aid. It is used as a calcium supplement in cereals, bakery mixes, flours, beverages, infant food, pet/animal food, and pharmacueticals.
